Single Input Wire Process
Equipment for the production of wire and cable which include stranders, cablers and planetary machines for the purpose of manufacturing compact cables by shaping wire round wire.
Single Input Wire Manufacturing Process (SIW)
The Single Input Wire (SIW) process revolutionizes the way cables are made. This method optimizes wire compaction by shaping multiple wires before they are twisted together around a core. Unlike traditional compaction methods, which can lead to work hardening of the metal, SIW forms and aligns the wires in a way that reduces the space between them, resulting in a more compact cable.
This is achieved without the need for additional force-based compaction techniques, allowing for a streamlined process that maintains the integrity and flexibility of the wires. With the ability to handle up to 61 wires in a single continuous process, SIW sets a new standard for cable density and performance.
